How It All Began
Inspired by Star Wars, Westworld and Ready Player One, James had a vision to create a futuristic world where people could hang out, play games and learn together. While he was working on the foundations for UtopiaVR, Microsoft shut down AltspaceVR. In the wake of that shutdown, James gathered a bunch of former Altspacers and started expanding the initial vision for UtopiaVR — to include beloved features that were in Altspace, and so much more.
