UtopiaVR runs on a layered, player-driven economy built on three currencies — one for everyday life, one for rare official treasures, and one that powers a real creator economy. All three are virtual; you can't cash them out.

Aura Coins

Your everyday currency for day-to-day life in UtopiaVR.

Used for

• Standard cosmetics and outfits
• Furniture and décor
• Basic apartments and upgrades
• Common crafting materials and recipes
• Many player-crafted Marketplace items (outside the 3rd-party creator program)

How you get it

• Gameplay and exploration
• Completing activities and quests
• Membership rewards
• Coin bundles via the Meta transaction system

Aura Coins are purely virtual and cannot be converted to real-world cash.

Star Tanzanite Coins

For rare, limited-edition and more powerful items that come directly from Infinite World Games.

Used for

• Unique or limited-edition cosmetics
• More powerful or rare gear
• Special décor and premium housing from Infinite World Games
• High-value official bundles and unlocks
• Official rewards and seasonal / event items

How you get it

• Special quests and achievements
• Membership rewards (for eligible tiers)
• Bundles via the Meta transaction system

Star Tanzanite is also purely virtual and cannot be converted to real-world cash.

Golden Sapphires

The currency that powers the 3rd-party creator economy inside UtopiaVR.

Used for items made by 3rd-party creators

• Custom furniture, décor and wearables
• Art for homes and social spaces
• Custom environments and add-ons
• Activities and interactables
• Custom commission packages (e.g. "Custom World A/B/C")

How creators earn

• Creators list their items in Golden Sapphires
• Infinite World Games charges a transaction fee per sale
• Creators are paid real-world cash monthly (minus the fee) via a 3rd-party payment vendor, based on their Golden Sapphire sales

Players buy Golden Sapphires through the Meta transaction system to purchase creator items. They're virtual for users (no cash-out), but they're the currency used to calculate real-world payouts to creators. Items in the official Infinite Marketplace creator program are listed in Golden Sapphires.
